Matured sweet rarity from the famous Rüdesheimer Berg.

A sensory delight as an aperitif, with cheese, with poultry liver or even on its own for endless enjoyment!!!!

The 2015 wine year was characterized by extreme weather. Repeated summer heat waves with record-breaking high temperatures were interrupted only briefly by cooling periods.

The Riesling flowering began eight days earlier than usual on June 8, 2015.

Over the course of the summer, the rainfall deficit continued to grow; by the end of August, the rainfall was missing from three average months. The advantage of the dry conditions was that disease pressure was minimal. The dreaded spotted wing drosophila was not an issue in 2015.

The Riesling began ripening on August 15. The general harvest at the Johannishof winery began in early October with pleasingly high must weights. The dry and sunny weather throughout October also had a positive effect.
